WHS, it just wont taste the same the on the second night anyway
Some people, including myself, feel that a Barolo tastes better on the second day. Arguably so does Brunello, as can a Montalcino or even a good Chianti.

I normally have no more than 2 glasses and save the rest for the next day.
Maybe it's because I've lived and travelled in other countries, but I don't understand why people in the UK have such a childish attitude to alcohol.
It's like a child with sweets. They've got to scoff the lot.
Do any restaurants use those vacuum corks? Have them at home and they work wonders if you want a glass of wine with dinner each day. Easily get 4-5 days out of a bottle of red, with very little degradation.
