Tulip gig - coping mechanisms

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent. -

I've seen it all now on this gig. The requirements spec is a load of screen shots, printed out, scribbled on indecipherably in biro and then scanned back as a pdf.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Amateurs.
Suggested techniques follow:
1) First thing in the morning you draw eight boxes at the top of your page. Circles can be used as a standard variation. Depending on your artistic preferences, they do not all need to be the same size or aligned.
Divide each box into four sections.
Colour in one section every fifteen minutes.
Methods for doing this can vary:
a) start at top left on square one, and work your way through methodically.
b) Colour random quadrants in. This method is, in my opinion, more intellectually stimulating
If fifteen minutes seems interminable, you can further divide the sections. A preferred way of doing this is to draw a line from the box to a new box which represents the fifteen minutes. Divide this new box into three five minute sections. Every three five minute chunks you then get the added excitement of colouring a fifteen minute box as well. If things are really dire, you can further link the five minute box to a child box. You end up with a nice hierarchy if you do this - and as you'll probably cope without dividing the fifteen minute boxes for at least part of the day (whilst taking a dump, for example) the overall effect resembles (for those old enough to remember it) jsp (no, not a java server page...)
2) If you're given manuals/documentation to read, look for each letter of the alphabet in turn and see how many pages it takes to get to 'z'. Repeat and see if you can beat your previous score. It's surprising how rare Js are (unless you happen to be a java dev...).Comment

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.
