                Blooming heck.

The guy who led this expedition, Turney, is starting to look like a bit of a fibber.
                he claimed
'This was no pleasure cruise. The science case took two years to develop, and was approved by the New Zealand Department of Conservation, the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service and the Australian Antarctic Division'

The head of the Australian Antarctic Division, Tony Fleming, has said this is not true and has asked Turney to stop repeating it

Well, those graphs are nothing to do with Climategate and are of the NASA data for the US. The biggest change came in the versions between 1999 and 2001. But the change in slope was almost certainly largely due to a bug in the analysis program being fixed and documented ...James Hansen even wrote about it on his mailing list:

The flaw affected temperatures only in the United States (by about 0.15°C). We corrected the flaw in the program, thanked the fellow who pointed it out, and thought that was the end of it.
                  A bug fix is fraud?

The other, far more minor changes are probably due to the nature of the algorithm, which homogenises the station data by comparison with neighbouring stations to a historical baseline, changes to present data can ripple backwards. All documented and open source. The source data is not generated by NASA and is subject to revision as data quantity and quality improve.

                  Improving DQ is fraud?

Ah, first smear, now innuendo. Nice.

                      No actual evidence then?
