I am past that. No side rooms available. Could do without being next to bob fleming as well. Sounds mean but my fellow patients do make a racket sometimes. I am next to the nurses station too which doesn't help. Just generally very noisy.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostAny buxom nurses to perve over?
I am a peace and quiet loving person. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

What needs to happen for you to move? Does someone need to get arsey and shout at people, or is it medical dependencies?Originally posted by doodab View PostTis very tiring being on the ward. Constant buzzing with people. Hope this hospice happens sooner rather than later.Comment

My father had the same thing. He was in the lung ward since he had lung cancer and it was very noisy but there was no reason why he should get a private room.Originally posted by mudskipper View PostWhat needs to happen for you to move? Can you pay for a private room? Or what about some nice sound-cancelling headphones?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

When my mum was in (I think it's the same hospital) she was in a ward full of dementia sufferers and it was hell. I tried for about two weeks to get her moved - in the end it just took one call from my sister (who's a nurse, but now lives in Oz) - it's knowing who to ask for.
I'll drop her an email and find out who she spoke to.Comment
