Sorry to hear that the symptoms weren't caused by something as simple as this....

I don't think that there are any words that can ever offer comfort, maybe the comfort is that people try to find them. So sorry to hear your news - stay strong

Good luck to your mate! Sorry to hear about what's happened. I still hope things will work out and you get to rock on with your family and friends!

It will come to us all. Some of us have a better idea of when than others, but the final day is always subject to extension !
Live each day as it comes, as you want to, with a focus on the positives
I hope to exchange banter with you for a long time to come

I think Bill Hicks put it well.

I believe the cost of life is death, and we will all pay that in full. Everything else should be a gift.

Yeah, he was right about a lot of stuff, and funny with it. I might pop one of his CDs (ripped now of course) on the stereo later.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

grammar - What is the difference between "till" and "until"? - English Language & Usage Stack Exchange

In a nutshell, they can be used interchangeably in most situations
One more thing. Sometimes you will see people spell till as a contraction of until: that is, as 'til. This is simply wrong, and not seen outside of old poetry and modern greeting cards aiming for a "poetic" tone. Anywhere you see 'til being used, till would be the correct word.
