I am disgusted by the ever increasing commercialisation of Christmas. It is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of Jesus, the son of GOD. Not some cheap event to be cashed-in on to the max. There is a reason why Jesus threw the money-lenders out of the temple. Think about that...

And so the crass commercialisation and trivialisation is entirely appropriate. According to Horrible Histories, the puritans banned celebration of Christmas.

Yeees Christmas has been commercialzed because there is lots of money to be made....

however the true christmas you are looking for is the one that comes from within by YOU displaying those Christian values and embracing your fellow man.

I wouldn't want embracing by my fellow man, especially in a christian sense. It was bad enough the time the Witnesses came round on christmas morning and interrupted my meat basting.

As for commercialisation, the only thing i've bought so far is some booze, and I intend to keep it that way
