Rubbish - it's a pagan festival celebrated long before Jesus was inventedOriginally posted by Jeff Maginty View PostI am disgusted by the ever increasing commercialisation of Christmas. It is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of Jesus, the son of GOD. Not some cheap event to be cashed-in on to the max. There is a reason why Jesus threw the money-lenders out of the temple. Think about that... -

Yeees Christmas has been commercialzed because there is lots of money to be made....
however the true christmas you are looking for is the one that comes from within by YOU displaying those Christian values and embracing your fellow man.
Stop waiting for someone else to do it for you....Comment

I wouldn't want embracing by my fellow man, especially in a christian sense. It was bad enough the time the Witnesses came round on christmas morning and interrupted my meat basting.Originally posted by original PM View PostYeees Christmas has been commercialzed because there is lots of money to be made....

As for commercialisation, the only thing i've bought so far is some booze, and I intend to keep it that way
