No Waitrose is supposed to be upmarket, but in reality the branded items are usually the same as Tesco. Where they make money is selling tempting up-market items next to the standard ones.

I have fresh meat and veg delivered every week as well as having a graze box for lunch at work but am happy to shop in Lidl when I need to buy things from a supermarket.

Lidl have a selection of 6 different game pâtés in little pots in one box. Very convenient and quite tasty. Testermog II does a good job of getting every last trace of the stuff out of the pots after we've finished.

Waitrose is also one of the few supermarkets where its cheaper to buy branded items than it is to buy own-brand. Thats just how far up their own arse they are.
