Are you saying we dhould we bow down to the EUSSR, and submit to our socialist overlords ?Originally posted by Flashman View PostA complete fantasy.
The EU Government is our Government. We are all EU citizens now..........Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

They want to extend the power of the EU state. They may not be stupid enough to completely close down entrepreneurial activity but they are doing their best to increase their own power and control.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostSo the EU is socialist in a different way? So they're statist and perhaps authoritarian? That's not at all the same thing as socialist, but I'm glad to have cleared that up for you.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostThey want to extend the power of the EU state. You can't have socialism without being statist and authoritarian, because you need force and limits on personal freedoms to be able to steal the money from the rich to fund it.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostSo they're statist and perhaps authoritarian?
