The Tories are pro mass immigration in reality, they just pretend otherwise for electoral gain. Deeds speak louder than words.

I'm waiting for you to tell me how the UCL study was biased. The whole text and methodology are in the link I posted. Or are you just going to spout unsubstantiated bollux forever?

PS Judging by your single-issue posts, I'm beginning to suspect you're not even an IT contractor, or permie.

Really? Enoch Powell must be rolling in his grave....
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

In other words, you can't find the evidence to support your claim that the Tories are pro mass immigration, but because you're not satisfied with their performance you can say they are, and qualify you lack of evidence with a throwaway statement like 'deeds speak louder than words'.

            Sasknob,

Since you post such regular nonsense I ignore everything you say now.
As I have told you before I am much more experienced than you are, probably better educated, and am definitely an IT contractor. I have posted on other stuff, whatever took my fancy.
Like the majority of the British public I dont have time to peer review the supposed research on immigration I can see it in front of me all the time, in the case of IT its easy walking round the big IT employers and seeing the mass numbers of Indian nationals (or Indian nationals given a British passport for working here a few years), I am perfectly capable of working out whats going on from first hand experience. Indeed I have been inside the Indian outsourcers and know first hand the evil they get up to.
            So go f u c k yourself.
            End of conversation.

OK, so instead of that, why not tell us what 'various mechanisms' are used to suppress the point of view of those who oppose immigration?

Thank you for you considered and rational response
I think the post says more about you than about me.
                I rest my case.

What I have never understood is the apathy amongst IT contractors to actually step in and do something about the ICT Visa. It would not be hard to set up an anonymous website with names of employers and names of companies and numbers involved. After all you are the ones who see it day to day.
Instead you lot moan about it and allude to it going on but you are too cowardly to name anyone or give examples.
Why are there not informants going to the borders agency and giving some names of Indians who have been on site for long periods, checking their wages and living conditions and the nature of work they do.
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Some are pretty easy to figure out. Immigration is the voters number two concern. Yet flagship programmes like "question time" hardly ever feature it as a topic, certainly not in anywhere near the proportion of times being the voters number two concern justifies. Partly due to BBC bias, and partly due to the broadly pro immigration parties encouraging their activists to attend making the audience unlike a random selection of the public. When they do talk about it they hardly ever let well educated people discuss the alternates to the status quo of the main parties.

MitchKnob, I am considerably kleverer and more educashioned than yau.
If you can't see the mechanisms you must be stupid, just take a walk around, look at the black helicopters in the sky and notice the radio masts supressing the bad news in immigration and beaming propaganda into your abode.
This conversation is over, as I must put some tin foil on my head.

                      Love CoolCat.
