There is an annual anti-corruption index printed comparing countries around the world. The UK is always in the top 20 - however the least corrupt places i.e. number 1 are always one of the Nordic countries.
I suggest you stop taking the drugs as they are making you paranoid.

The UK is one of the least corrupt countries in the world.
I hate to admit it, but I agree with Dodgy. There might be some room for improvement (or perhaps not, as many posited ideas of social perfection are impossible when properly analysed) but in the grand scheme of things we have one of the least corrupt systems.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'
I tend to ageee with Op, we're just as corrupt as everyone else as it's human nature. We're just better at pretending not to be. Remember the MP who claimed 20k for moat clearance? He thought that was perfectly acceptable as the system he was involved in, the UK government, made it perfectly acceptable. It was only the media and the public outcry that had any effect. Now they're just better at hiding their crimes.
If the government are so blasé about it, why should anyone else be different? At least in Africa they're openly corrupt!
