+1 for Booths. There's one up the road from me, their eccles cakes are amazing.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

            M&S & Tesco for us.

Turkey will be from my parents local TD (MP). He raises and sells about 50 turkeys every year and my Ma would have a fit if we didn't get one.

Ham will be local too.... last year it was 2 piggies that started life as the cutest little piglets named appropriatly (sp?) Rasher and Sausage.

Sounds wonderful. In the Lizard village or somewhere like St. Kevern?

Also why ain't this multi-choice? Typically we do the bulk of shopping through Tesco Online but might get meat from a local butcher, plus a trip to Aldi/Lidl for snacks. Wine from Laithewaites, whisky from online unless Tesco have the one(s) I want.

Friends live in Mullion but we are in Lizard Village. We would be at St Keverne (its a nice short walk to Roskilly's) but the house we usually rent is not available (owners are using it)....

We're not doing this feast as it might upset our neighbours who are of a different religious persuasion and we don't want to end up in the Daily Mail as victims of politically correct persecution...Instead we are going to nothing and I mean nothing, just going to lie there, not breathe, not move, nada, for 24 hours until it is over and hopefully that shouldn't annoy anyone. Once it is over then we're going to have a suckling pig in the back garden with flagons of beer and Jeroboams of high proof alcohol whilst dressed from head to toe in kinky nurses outfits. **** 'em, its not Christmas anymore then...
