FGM, honor killings, forced marriages it's all the fallout from the last Labour government

These things have been going on for decades and the only blame any government of any political persuasion has been from sweeping it under the carpet.

Then again if the Churches and other religious institutions, and non-religious organisations including children's homes and schools can sweep more common child abuse under the carpet with co-operation from the police and social services, then it's not surprising these matters have been as well.

Agree completely it should be banned on babies, consenting adults and medical reasons can continue.

You are allow to publicly condemn it - it's illegal in the UK.

Also the more men who know about it the more likely it can be stopped.

The reactions by the young Men was telling.

It does seem to be something driven by mothers, which seems madness. I doubt any sane parent would want to put their children through surgery unless is was necessary. Our Daughter needed an operation at the same sort of age as these girls, neither parent slept properly for weeks before.

In the animal kingdom it's called "sexual selection" and it results in all sorts of weird tulip. Some people even think it's the reason we evolved our relatively large brains.
