I was rather hoping they would unite in their hatred of the grinning one and he would have a Salman Rushdie style existence as the Taliban etc chased after him. Stop them bombing each other for a bit. -
We could always start a rumour about his habit of doing rude caricatures of a certain prophet on the walls of cottaging hotspots.Originally posted by vetran View PostI was rather hoping they would unite in their hatred of the grinning one and he would have a Salman Rushdie style existence as the Taliban etc chased after him. Someone must like him though:
Interesting factoid, all his children hold Irish passports....Blair led Labour to a landslide victory in the 1997 general election, winning 418 seats, the most the party has ever held.
The 43-year old Blair became the youngest person to become Prime Minister since Lord Liverpool became Prime Minister at the age of 42 in 1812. With victories in 1997, 2001, and 2005, Blair was the Labour Party's longest-serving prime minister, the only person to lead the party to three consecutive general election victories.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
