He also actively promoted Remploy by allowing one of their own to become Prime Minister

Did Blair not miraculously make UK border controls disappear?
And did he not turn a stupid lump of lard into a deputy prime minister?
Just suggestions, for the pope.

Blair will always hold a special place in my heart.
Until he came along I had always, perhaps naively, believed in the integrity of the body politic, so to speak.
Now I think they're all pretty much a bunch of shysters and charlatans (which perhaps they always have been) and I treat every utterance from each and every one of them with the utmost scepticism.
Cheers Tone.
