Ok, who is going to claim for this little shindig?
Bearing in mind that it could be construed as a "professional seminar" or suchlike and the first class return from WSM isn't cheap.
Also, will there be a secure place to park my bicycle nearby?Comment

Drop 50p on the floor, and when SMac bends over to pick it up (he's from Yorkshire) you'll have a ready made cycle rack.Originally posted by gricerboy View PostOk, who is going to claim for this little shindig?

Secure parking at a very reasonable cost.
There was some discussion about whether the do could be classed as a "Christmas Party" for those of us who don't have spouses who are into nice meals at classy restaurants.Comment

Malc and I have already accounted for our allotted £300 Christmas party allowance.
This will be an additional expense...Comment

Was looking forward to the drinkies and planning to take friday off, but two other contractors at clientco (in Cambridge) nipped in first, the lazy sods. So I'm expected to be present that day.
If there's somewhere to park nearby I should be able to get there about 7pm or soon after, but I'll only be able to have a pint and after that it's non-stop orange juice.
I can't leave the car parked overnight, as I've hired a van for the weekend and need to make an early and sober start, for a couple of trips up and down the M3.
