So let me see 3 police officers lied on official forms and to the public? Yet they aren't guilty of gross misconduct?

Discipline Plebgate police and say sorry to Andrew Mitchell, Theresa May tells forces - Telegraph

Now that means 2 years prison plus a book deal doesn't it?

No real sympathy for Mitchell he seems to be an arrogant muppet. but he did tell the truth?

      Anything is possible I suppose.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

He's a politician - the correct assumption is that he wasn't not telling the truth.

He probably should have just told the truth at the beginning. Not spun the "I did not use those words" line for weeks. I think it'd have blown over way quicker if he had.

Isn't he a civil servant, not a politician? Or, I guess, they're one of the same.

I think it is disgraceful on the part of the Police, the cover up has ben shameful, and all it does is make the man in the street feel the police are bent, and in the main, they're not.

he admitted to swearing straight away. He denied calling them plebs which was odd because it was just the right words for him but odd for plod. Then someone mentioned the word had been used by Suralan the week before.

He has continued to deny the use of plebs and it came out Plod lied about him using it and other parts of their legal report.

Then senior officers tried to fit him up further,

And it was the use of plebs/lying about it that triggered his resignation.
