No! I like to tear the baguette in half myself giving a nice rustic feel.

PS. I'm having a pastrami & gherkin sandwich. It's nice.
Good call. Our local deli does a really good sandwich - pastrami, sliced gherkin and onion with mustard.

I quite often make a hot sandwich:

        - 2 small sub rolls, normally seedy ones
        - add salami on one side
        - mild cheddat on the other
        - finely chopped onion on the salami
        - a few mini-gherkins, sliced lengthwise and laid out on the cheese
        - grill for 2-3 minutes
        - squish closed and devour

Christ on a bike. If I went about tearing coleslaw filled baguettes apart, I'd need to bring a change of clothes to work.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Is "coleslaw filled baguette" a euphemism, like "badly packed kebab"?

Is that some sort of cheese?

Otherwise sounds divine. I'll be round shortly!

Maybe Platypus likes the rustic feel of eating his lunch off the desk surface and then picking up the dropped coleslaw from his jeans for afters

Presumably he removes his trousers before eating coleslaw like any decent gent.
