House of Cards on Netflix (US version) - Yes, me too, seen it
Homeland - I tried the first episode and hated it. I hear it improves. It's a maybe. Or maybe not.
House of Lies - Maybe
Justified - Just another cop show, with cowboys?
The West Wing - Excellent, seen it.
The Tudors - It's a good thought
Orphan Black - Watched the first one, will watch more
Peaky Blindness - Will watch this
The Returned - OK, I'll try it
Walking Dead - I just could not get into it. Watched the first episode. Not compelling at all IMO.
Boardwalk Empire - Good stuff, I'm up-to-date with it
Ray Donovan - Interesting suggestion. Not sure though.
HIMYM - Gay
True Blood - Watched a few, didn't get on with it. GF won't watch.
Hannibal - Maybe but I don't think GF Platypus would like this
Da Vinci's Demons - Interesting suggestion
American Horror Story - I tried a few episodes of this. Quite good but not gripping. I might have another look
Bottom - Arse
Warehouse 13 - Might be a guilty pleasure...
The Mentalist - I think I watched the first season. It was ok but I won't watch more.

No one mentioned Mad Men. I have the box set of 4 or 5 seasons of that too. I should get back to it. But Breaking Bad it ain't.

Homeland does get much better. I watched the first two episodes when it first came out and lost interest, but bought the boxset as I'd heard good reviews and it was well worth sticking with. I'm just watching Season 2 now and it's excellent so far.

Sons of Anarchy is like a guilty pleasure for me. Looking forward to Season 5 on DVD in a couple months.

Watched season 1 of Homeland but have kind of lost interest so wont bother with season 2.

Once I have done BB I think The Shield will be next for me.

Weeds: fell off after a couple of seasons and not got back in
Homeland: struggled at first. S2 better than S1 and S3 is setup to be a good-un
Walking Dead: Gets much better after the first few.

Oh yeah MadMen is good so far (1st series).

Weeds is worth making you own mind, it's unusual which means reviews are going to be divided. It definitely tails off but unlike say, Lost, you aren't going to feel like you have to watch it... I'd say the first 3 series are definitely recommended and then make up your own mind.
