And to be clear, I don't really mean anyone you're in a relationship with - anywhere from someone you know really well through to a complete stranger in a bar (although I have to admit I'd find it a little weird if some strange bint wandered up to me and said that, but I still don't think I'd mind all that much).

No, she'd "act" like she was disgusted, so as to protect her reputation. Secretly, she might actually feel quite flattered and validated, although she would probably never admit that to anyone. That's female psychology.
