            Out of your depth

One half chance in a whole game against your biggest rivals.
Inherited a championship winning squad plus spent £70m (Mata, Fellani, Zaha).
            Just a matter of time....

I used to have an Astra that started misfiring. Plugs or leads I thought, I'd had a similar problem with another car.

I took it round the local garage for them to fix, intending to pick it up next day. I dropped in the next day to see the engine in pieces, the problem was more serious than we thought. It was an old engine and had developed a leaky head gasket, burnt valve, and a few other worn-out parts.

At that point should I have asked for my car back and pushed it round to someone else to fix?

Many people said Fergie was out of his depth between 1986-90.
Bit early to pass judgment..........not that this will stop people.

Pass judgement? are you Passing wind? Moyes has wrecked that team and made it far worse than it actually is. They have an excellent front line and while their midfield and defence is a bit knackered they shouldn't be losing 3-0 at home and regularly losing to relegation teams. Moyes has to go. #MoyesOut

I'm sick of hearing this argument because its complete bollocks. Fergie inherited a dysfunctional club. Atkinson allowed the players too much freedom to go out and get pissed etc as many thought they were untouchable. Fergie came in and changed that. The difference is Moyes had a team that walked the prem last year. Yes other teams have improved, but he's managed to work his way through a ton of cash without producing anything. That said, even without the new faces we should not be losing to the teams we are doing. Its not nice to lose to those at the top, but when you are struggling against mid table teams then there is obviously something wrong. 5 defeats in the league at Old Trafford is a joke.

My problem with Moyes is that he seems unable to grasp the situation. We went in at half time 1 down and lucky to still have 11 vs 11. Then straight away Jones gives away an penalty - Moyes then waits until the 75th minute to change things, and when he does its to introduce Cleverley for Felani....a like for like tulip for tulip replacement if ever there was one.

Then look at how he has spent money. In summer they started out by making a comedy bid for Fabragas (26m) and eventually ended up with paying 1m more for Felani! They also paid 4m more than they needed because they let his release clause lapse. Surely as the ex everton manager Moyes would have some clue about the ins and outs of his contract! Then he buys Mata. We have had a problem for a long time as to how to accomodate RVP, Rooney and Kagawa. Now its how do you accomodate RVP, Rooney, Kagawa and Mata. We had one of the brightest young talents on our books in Zaha that never got a chance. Yet he plays Young with alarming regularity. He gave nani a nice new 5 year deal and he's hardly been near the squad all season. Our defence needs major work, what happens, Vidic gets a free to Milan, the one central defender that we could have got another season or 2 out of.

But....and its a big one, I think his biggest mistake was replacing all the backroom staff with his everton cronies, phil Nevile and Ryan Giggs.

I thought Moyes was a good choice for the job, but his performance in it shows that the job is way bigger than him. That said, I would have preferred the special one any day to Gollom! At least he can motivate players and could attract big names to the club.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                    I preferred version 1!
