So he got enough cash for the reassignment surgery and hormone therapy, and got this daft idea that he could get into a classy joint, which I always said was too many steps up from the station toilets and he'd be better with one of the agencies serving the merchant shipping industry.

Yep, that's the thing. I don't want to waste the money on stuff I already know and sit there bored and not wanting to be there. Glad that you seemed to learn a good skill from it. Can you remember the company? Although I suppose a lot can change in ten years!

No need to involve the Dutch Antilles here, sd it's a very straightforward service I offer.

50% of fee is my professional fee / profit. The other 50% goes into establishment of a Ltd Co. with working capital in client's name, and I coach the client until he finds his first contract.

I call the model 'Throughplacement'. For some clients, this practical approach fits their personal objectives better than a life coach / mentor.
