I think you'll find Ferrari aren't like a normal car manufacturer, are theyOriginally posted by Mich the Tester View PostWot, like Ferrari are cutting off their noses to spite their faces?
And if you really do look, look at their FF as 'never doing a 4x4'; could be an indicator things could change.
Let us also remember FIAT own Maserati, Ferrari, JEEP, DODGE, etc, etc. They can say they'd never do an SUV, but I can recall Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar, Bentley, etc, etc, etc all saying the same thing.
IMO? There will be a Ferrari SUV in my lifetime.Last edited by Old Hack; 5 September 2013, 13:52.Comment

I can't imagine Lambo saying that as they practically invented the things.Originally posted by Old Hack View PostLet us also remember FIAT own Maserati, Ferrari, JEEP, DODGE, etc, etc. They can say they'd never do an SUV, but I can recall Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar, Bentley, etc, etc, etc all saying the same thing.

In all fairness, when they started the supercar arm they said they'd only produce supercars better in quality than Ferrari. Then they tendered for an army contract with the LM002, using their 4x4 knowledge, the rest was down to not getting the contract. Remember, Lambo's started by making tractors.Originally posted by doodab View PostI can't imagine Lambo saying that as they practically invented the things.

Maserati's are all, pretty much, ferrari's anyway, so they can say they'll never build a SUV with impunity, and just build it using Ferrari components, and call it a maser.
And the Jag isn't really a looker is it.Comment
