Kinda on the "shouldnt we all setup our own recruitment pimp shop" theme, maybe a smaller chunk to bite would be setting up some kind of self help group (bear with me) where we offer to sit down with our fellows and go through their CV's, what they are aiming for, and so on ?

But what do you think about specific sectorial experience, i.e. banking or insurance ? On Jobserve many opportunities require previous experience in banks or insurance, and I suppose my lack of experience in these sectors is causing me to be trown away everytime.

I'm not interested in banking or insurance so I couldn't tell you.

I only hate people that demand something from me for free. I get my CV reviewed by professionals and get a textwriter to advise me on covering e-mails. It costs me 150 euros each time, I do it once every couple of years and it appears to pay for itself.
