I just hope I don't get the trots..

I just spoke to her, and it is a slightly different story. Apparently she bought them at Sainsburys for her horse, and for some reason left the unopened packet on the end desk close to an existing bowl of m&m's. Then somebody opened them and poured them into the same bowl..

Especially if we get simultaneous bird and horse related puns; we'll be on a wing and a prayer and saddled with this crap so long it'll become a full six day event.

And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

A CUK thread lasting for 6 days? I't have to be a really crap thread for that to happen.

Now I need to canter off to lunch

You know that people often bring in cakes, biscuits and things to go at the end of the desk for people to eat, well today was no exception, and there was a bowl of savory nibbles to feed on.
I took a bite, and it really didn't taste very nice. Oh well it must be some crappy health-food type thing.
The originating packet was there, so I read the label. Eucalyptus. Hmmm I guess that might have some health benefits.

Until I saw the picture of the horse on the packet

It turned out to be a new Ukrainian bird who has recently started at the company.
I do hope you are ok KP.
If you start to feel a bit funny and gallop off down the street tonight, let me know and I will put a fiver on you for the 15:00 hurdles at Kempton tomorrow

Maybe the OP is hoping the young filly will give him a piece of tail or maybe just a hand-gallop? But beware, too much bucking in the saddle and you'll end up at the knackers...
