Double Deckers and The Partridge Family...
Loved those shows - watched them again recently and they are shiiiiite..
Fresh Meat and Pete vs Life much better... -

I used to love Roots. The the young Kunte Kinte (black kid didn't seem specific enough) was LeVar Burton who went on to be Geordi La Forge in Star Trek TNG.
