      This and if you're in Halifax anyway, why don't you hike around Yorkshire and nearby villages, lovely Hebden Bridge is just 10 miles away, you could even walk by the canal or whatever, up the hill from the is an even nicer place Heptonstall with lovely ruins etc etc, enjoy nature!

            Tetley (later Carlsberg) Brewery is gone - demolished, tho I think you can get a tour of Leeds Brewery at Kirkstall Bridge.
