I went along a few weeks ago, the lady looked in my ear and said there was no wax to remove. Then asked me a few questions and explained why my hearing was going and recommended I go see an ENT specialist as suspected I had something (forgotten the name). As there was no wax, she didn't charge me.

My GP referred me to ENT at London Bridge Hospital, they used microsuction.
