Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

You are correct. I believe its up to the parents, as they're their children's moral guardians however as we've seen in our society many parents themselves haven't had this education and are either unwilling or unable to provide that education to their children. What you have to ask yourself, is who is at fault for this collapse in our society?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

no its our job to make sure that they aren't confronted by it.

Collapse in society sounds like good old fashioned moral panic. Do you really think there's a collapse in society? Come off it.

I'll leave that up to you to decide.

Well, it's a bit of both really, isnt it.

Can't say I've ever had that sort of thing jump out at me in a supermarket though - isnt it always top shelf?

Yes, where is this supermarket where attractive young women in the nude jump off the shelves?

Actually I think covering up these mags is like putting a sticking plaster on a severed limb.

Mich, do you not think that the sexualisation of women has gone too far? When you see nine year olds teetering around in high heels and crop tops (often with a padded bra underneath). Yep - their parents deserve a good slapping, but aren't their parents are also products of this conditioning?

If you, or any other red blooded male wants to over pictures of naked ladies, I don't have a problem with that (as long as you wipe up after you).

I do have a problem with the misconception that flaunting sexuality somehow equates to liberation.

When you think about women in burkhas, many argue that it's their choice to wear them - their husband does not 'make' them. We tend to see that 'choice' as being artificial - their society disapproves if they don't wear one - the pressures aren't direct but they're there. We're the opposite end of the spectrum - the fifteen year old who chooses to wear a skirt that doesn't cover her arse is equally confirming to societies expectations of her. Those expectations are fuelled by a constant bombardment of media images.

re: the abs - maybe you need to spend more time in the gym. Just make sure you avoid the ladies only sessions.
