Do-able for a young single person. Not for someone with health issues and a horde of children, assuming you meant to do both gigs properly...Originally posted by Paddy View PostWork from home and do both contracts!Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

First gig won't take no for an answer. They can't match the day rate or duration, but can hike the day rate to 95%.
I can't shake the feeling that gig a took too long to make their minds up, and gig b cancelled their interviews and made an offer on the spot.
I'm very confused
How does one go about making ones mind up if they counter offer with equivalent day rate and duration?Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Why didn't you stay in the Deutsch Land where the economy is growing and life is generally pretty good?Originally posted by suityou01 View PostFirst gig won't take no for an answer. They can't match the day rate or duration, but can hike the day rate to 95%.

You missed a chapter. I miss my kids, the travelling is doing me in and my boss is a twat.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostWhy didn't you stay in the Deutsch Land where the economy is growing and life is generally pretty good?Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Kids can live in Germany too, and all bosses are twats; that's why we're self employed.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostYou missed a chapter. If the first gig isn't making you a breaking the bank offer stick to the one that wants you enough to be by passing their usual recruitment process.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostFirst gig won't take no for an answer.
