So you're planning on ignoring Doctors advice and crippling yourself then?
Mother - is that you?
When my knee went I thought "what would MF do?" - well the answer if have another burger. So then I thought "what would MF suggest?". MTFU.
Anyway it was not a doctor - it was a physio. Though I am wondering if I can leave the house tomorrow. I have to crawl upstairs. And my wife has gone to North Wales house hunting.
Anyway what is done is done. I have one more event booked and paid for. The brutal double. I intend to do the swim, cycle and go up/down swowden. Then see how the knee feels. Then see a surgeon.

Don't destroy your health - get it sorted before attempting to do the next tri. Otherwise even being able to swim properly could end up being years away.....

Are you still doing the London 100 next Sunday? Guess it'll be a breeze in comparison. Got two mates who are doing it - feeling a mixture of envy and relief that I didn't get a place.

OOch will have to clean the bike - faff
I do think I will start, expecting eejits all the way until we hit the hills. This will be harder for me in avoiding the idiots, we know how blokes don't like being overtaken by anyone let alone a girl - how dare she ; am expecting that riff raff until the surrey hills
if there is a tshirt in it, ill do it for my mum, she gets them all

In the unlikely event that you spot my mate on her powder blue Halfords ladies sit-up bike (possibly with basket on the front!) give her some words of encouragement - I think she'll need them!
