If you find someone good, you hire them. I can understand why in some instances recruiters would exercise caution, and in this case their instincts appear to have been correct. -

I had a contract with a consultancy a couple of years ago
Telephone interview went well
Face to face with consultancy PM at client co went well
Then they wanted me to go to the consultancy office to meet the MD!
Ended up making a 7 hour round trip to basically shake hands with the MD so he could make sure I wasn't a wierdo. I didn't even finish my coffeeCoffee's for closersComment
