It seems I assisted the hapless Australian cricket team yesterday.

But hang on, if I tell everyone the Dutch government is the best thing since sliced bread,...

No, bad idea, we'd probably get one that's even tuliptier.

Frau D. decided to do overtime tonight so probably stay in and have a pizza on the balcony in the balmy weather but might just go for a beer when she gets home.

Tomorrow its off to Frankfurt for the Hessischen Apfelweinmeisterschaft and will blind test 17 different Apfelweins which means I'll be a bit tiddly and have the galloping tulips. Get back home and off to the Riegerplatzfest (drink, food and live music, possibly even Tombola!) to finish off.

Sunday, a quiet day as Frau D. decided to do overtime again which means I'll cook a nice meal for when she gets home and then point her in the direction of the ironing board

Its going to be hot and sunny, whoo hoo
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Trying to stretch the suspense of a scratchcard to last the whole weekend.
Parkrun (hot!) Saturday morning. Lack of energy this week is shocking.
Big BBQ for Mr MS 50th on Sunday. Lots of shopping to be done.

Eldest 10th birthday party tomorrow, so go Ape and out on the canoes on the Rhynes, then back here for fun and games, then off to Pizza express. Then a lazy Sunday, maybe a bike ride and walk with the girls along the Bridgwater canal.

God, I love English summers when they come off like this.

Yesterday: was too knackered to do anything, so a quiet night in
Today: yet another house viewing, followed by prepping food for tonights Whisky tasting chez Norr
Tomorrow: recovering from whisky tasting, followed by a trip to hamsterjam to a mates Bastille day party ( I am so going to regret it on Monday).

I'd be into it in a big way if I had the room, and the time, and could be arsed, and knew how to do it, and it wasn't so cheap in Sainsbury's

edit: Weekend - Drove to Lightwater to collect a crate of my books from a friend who is storing a dozen in his shed. Surprisingly the spiders haven't got to them yet, even after 10 years. Then we had a nice meal in Loch Fyne restaurant near Windsor, specialising in seafood. Tomorrow preparing a maths paper for the ArXiv - May postpone that until next week if it's sunny again.
