Statistically, something like this is always going to happen some time regardless if there is a problem.
Murray discusses it in his column and doesn't see any problems, he blames players for treating the surface like a hard/clay court.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Also possible, but I don't like the attitude of complete denial sown by the officials; it could well be a statistical anomaly, but it's still worth investigating.Originally posted by d000hg View PostStatistically, something like this is always going to happen some time regardless if there is a problem.

One imagines they inspect the courts BEFORE play starts and therefore don't feel the need to investigate. Every year you see people sliding all over the place when the courts are virgin... and how many of the retirees have actually blamed the court anyway? Every year (as someone who watches the tournament fairly closely) players blame the court for being too fast or slow or slippery or dry... it's what sportsmen do!Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Inspection is not the same as actually playing. Yep, sportspeople sometimes blame the surface, but at that level they also tend to prepare for the circumstances very well; that's one of the things that makes them top sportspeople.Originally posted by d000hg View PostOne imagines they inspect the courts BEFORE play starts and therefore don't feel the need to investigate. Anyway, why am I getting into a discussion about a sport that I dont even like? Could it be something to do with tall blonde girls with skimpy clothing? And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

No, no no, there's a special spot that you have to find, it's not just the g-spot, but there's another one that'll make her giggle in ecstasy. Keep trying; Mrs Mac's got that spot too.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostWhen girls laugh at you during sex, its usually means you are doing it wrongAnd what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? AFAIK with the exception of Eastbourne, Wimbledon is the only grass surface on the professional circuit.Originally posted by d000hg View PostStatistically, something like this is always going to happen some time regardless if there is a problem.

Players are simply more used to hard courts as that is what they play on for the rest of the year.Coffee's for closersComment
