But when I see uniformity like that it's clearly biased and does rather beg the question of why if they are better than us 10 out 10 times they are measured they get away with claiming that men run the world ?
My daughters went through a phase of saying 'girls are so much better than boys'. My reply was 'Name a civilisation where women ruled - explain why you can't find one when the girls had so many opportunities.'

they went quiet, one did suggest it was due to having children which in my opinion is pretty close to the mark.

Then I said - ' so how can you make yourself much better than everyone regardless of gender?' They sometimes do their homework now!

It will be nice when we get to the point where we don’t need to have “diversity drives” whereby a group decides that more of women/ethnic/gay representation is needed in a particular area.

I sometimes feel that these things do more harm than good, as it can lead to the “you only go the job to make a diversity target” problem.

I do think that teams work better when made of a good mix to bring in different aptitudes & attitudes but I don’t think gender is an essential.

The reasoning behind gender / job imbalances is so varied and many that they can’t all be listed here.

Anyhow its simples, to get more women in tech just get some decent looking & socially capable men in ..
        Growing old is mandatory
        Growing up is optional

So, to get women into IT, get them drinking pints.

(There is a serious point somewhere in this post I think)
So one solution is for more Computer Science teachers to take teenage girls down the pub?
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Not met many male Midwives or primary school teachers maybe we should insist on equality in these professions first after all the Government has a direct control over these posts?

The midwife who delivered my eldest son and his primary school teacher are both blokes.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I wouldn't mind being a part time ob/gyn, you know just to keep my hand in it
