Agreed. However that is what is happening (allegedly) - they lost their PSL status for some reason and the client expected to be able to retain staff via another PSL company at renewal, but the man from CP he say No.

Messy, and unnecessary. Bit like CP, really, come to think of it!

I guess this is the problem with restraint in general. CP indicate they might try, they have to instigate. They feel "nothing to lose now".

For the previous client it's just a huge distraction, if they think it's easier to replace a few cons than tie themselves up with their legals then they will just do so. although I don't think the cleint in question is exactly noted for allowing itself to be bullied.

No. They've also just outsourced their contractor recruitment team to Bangalore and signed up with Elance (although that's nothing to do with the CP argument), so it's looks like they're an official lost cause now.
