Obsidian Black, with deep blue tints and AMG body kit. Wife seems to like it, not entirely my bag. 19" tyres a heartache when you (she) puncture one twice....

So given two kids (and a wife of course) I'm currently tempted to have two smaller cars rather than one bigger one as it is rare that we would go somewhere far enough to justify the need for a bigger car.
          Discussion please?

Double insurance, road tax, service costs
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

You either need two cars or you don't.

Get 2 small cars the same make, colour & year, fill in a SORN for one of them , clone the plates on the non SORN one and get 2 for the price of one motoring

Dealer trade ins always rip you off.
I found out the hard way. I do lots of miles and until I started work on our house, I was buying 2 new cars every 2.5 years. Always had full dealer history always got very base trade in figures (but then again I also made sure that I got a shed load off the incoming car so was never that bothered)
No one buys nice cars privately down here. I had my first SL on sale for 2 months before I gave in an took a trade in. full MBSH and took no more than £500 difference from what it would have been if it just had random history.
