I hate it when someone tries to smear me by accusing me of being racist just for questioning mass-uncontrolled-immigration. It's nothing to do with race or skin-colour or religion or country of origin. It's a simple matter of: The country is full. We cannot afford to keep allowing hundreds-of-thousands of foreigners to come here to stay permanently and give them free money (benefits). There is an issue of culture & values, which is simply: if you don't respect our culture and values, then you're not welcome here (when in Rome...), but that has nothing to do with skin colour.
I am not racist. If I was interviewing three British candidates for a job, one black, one white and one yellow, the one with the best skills, experience & personality match would get the job, regardless of skin colour. Nuff said!!Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

OK that happens, and it´s bad, but it doesn´t happen everywhere, just need to go and look how successful Wipro is. The main problem is that the market is bad. This PM sounds like someone that no-one would want to work for. I think the vast majority of PM´s and particularly in large companies will actually look very favourably on ethnic minorities, because if they don´t HR gets on their back.
There are quite a few contractors who can´t get work at the moment. I submitted a very low bid recently and was rejected out of hand, and they noted that there was an awful lot of candidates. I would suggest he looks for a permie role, where he should stand a much better chance.Last edited by BlasterBates; 4 May 2013, 08:45.I'm alright JackComment

I wonder if these antidiscrimination laws are not causing as much problem as they are supposed to solve. Some may be genuinely worried about getting rid of or disciplining unsatisfactory minority staff. If we hand any group an excuse to blame others for their own failures some will take advantage of it.bloggoth

UKIP has declared itself non-racist. Not anti-racist, but non-racist. As in "I'm not a racist myself, but I've nothing against those that are. In fact, many of my friends are racist". (Taken from that pillock Jeremy Hardy, but nonetheless mildly amusing).Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
