You might find this hard to believe, but many agents are switched on enough to pick up on some bulltulipters.

And there are plenty of bulltulipters out there filling their CV with keywords and years of experience that they don't actually have.

And even if they don't understand half the stuff you say, and lets face it, you could still be bulltulipting them, if you cannot speak coherently and give them a brief outline of what you do, then you'll probably go on their "no" pile for 2 reasons.

    1. you might by bulltulipting
    2. they are not convinced you can sell yourself well enough in an interview.

I would challenge anyone to know more Jargon than I do.

Sadly I see no spelling mistakes there but I do see a grammatical error:

Because they're failed estate agents who think a Java Combo Box is an built in coffee machine
The 'an' should be an 'a' as I had originally written 'inbuilt.' I take it English is not your strong point?

Agent is a blonde bimbo. I agree in principle with what you are saying but this pimp was simply not with it.... Just the kind of agent you would ask to click forward to send the CV on...

She has probably been told to do this and is just going through the motions ... or she has just let you underestimate her(?).

There was a girl at Lockheed Martin that did that, she was stunning and would interview guys by putting her clip board down and pretending to chat (complete with smiles and annecdotes etc).

I was 20 and she got me completely off guard, like I had a chance with her, until she mentioned her friend loving living in Cardiff due to the social life and asking me if that is why I went there (I realised it was the 'why did you choose your university' question and yanked my guard back up). That was a learning experience .. but not the type I was hoping for.

I was thinking the exact same.

She might not know the goal of the spiel she is following, but her boss will.

Are you sure the clients (or their internal processes) don't have a tickbox of requirements which she is trying to fill in? Have seem some pretty complex role requirements from potential clients that had half a page essential, another half nice to have's and another page of assosciated skills.
Even I couldn't see how some were relevant and the role was bread and butter stuff so must have been a nightmare for a none tech agent. An indepth discussion of my CV to find out if I matched more than the next guy would have made sense.
