I believe that definitive proof can never been determined, and as such accept other people do have faith in the unknown and find comfort in this.

I don't think I find comfort. Being convinced death is the end is rather comforting IMO. Being unsure what will happen when you die is the worst place to be, I'd say!Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -

Assuming, of course, you've spent your days treating life as an adventure rather than a thing to be endured in the hope of better things to come."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

I don't know, the idea of going somewhere forever without even the out of death is a bit worrying. Whereas just decomposing is pretty easy.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Then it went along to things like there being no sorrow in heaven ... but some loved ones would be being tortured in hell which would make me sad. So, either I would not go to heaven, they would not go to hell or my brain would be changed somehow to make me not care about them (not appealing).Comment

As far as a creator is concerned, I'm an agnostic too. It's just the ideas about heaven and hell, of a creator with an interest in the personal salvation of individuals that make no sense.

If everything isn't black and white, I say, 'Why the hell not?'
