      I only have IE Tester version of IE9 but it looks OK in that too.

              If it was IE6 or 7 it would be understandable, some glitches on IE8 the same. But totally failing on IE9 is not... it's a much better browser.
              Perhaps the site doesn't realise it's a decent version of IE and is trying to fix all the problems which aren't actually there?

                  Dev had turned combining CSS off and without that there are more CSS files than IE can handle - should all be OK again now. Cheers for flagging up.
