I did check though. and he was convicted of perjury. maybe i am confusing myself
I always thought it was for being a smarmy Tory tulipbag and writing crap novels...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Anyway, Huhne knew that only 1% of criminals get caught, he was as safe as houses....

What is it with you people? had he been a Tory then his "crime" would have been worse? He clearly is a compulsive liar - one only has to read the text exchange with his son to see that. If he is prepared to lie over something as trivial as a speeding ticket what then would he do over more serious matters?

Yep, you need to catch them first, before you can throw them in the clink.

While I've explicitly stated to Mr C that I'd squeal if the same thing happened in our household, I think that this instance had nothing to do with cowardice.

He might have been a manipulative bully for all we know, but a more certain assessment is the observation that he was an arrogant powerful arse using his dick for brains, who thought that he could treat his wife of 27 years with the same contempt that he had for the law. Has he not heard of the consequences of a woman scorned?

Although I'm not sure that she realised that by revealing this she'd be standing in the dock next to him.

There are many who think Tories are inherently less trustworthy than Socialists.

Some people believed Tony B'liar and Gordon Bruin were trustworthy.

son how to tell if a politician is lying, tis easy to prove its when his lips move.

Tories you know where you stand. Self interest prevails (individual freedom and responsibility) and Tory ideology is built around self interest being the driver for everyone to prosper. Never trust someone who says they are doing something for others --

                    Yup.

But as I said, I don't think that she thought she'd end up there....

Please don't just because of idjits like Chris. There is good in the world and well meaning people.

This is a massive blow though , I've always liked the liberals and they've had a lot of votes from me ; it's really got me down that the crooks rise to power even in this org.

Offtopic a bit, but that "leader" we have in coalition should have called a vote of no confidence months ago - but oh no, he likes his cushy number doesnt he?
