        It really is ****ed up beyond all recognition that a family can get 17k in benefits.

        Benefits should be cut to about a 1/4 of what they are. The minimum wage should be scrapped and replaced with a negative income tax up to what the current minimum wage is.

                Out of interest what will these people go down to when the new rules come in?

                  No change I believe, will be frozen.

                  These are perfect candidates for workfare. Fit, healthy and lazy because benefits pay more, get them out of bed at 6am and get them painting fences.
