IR35 investigation, like God & giving blood is good for society is a myth. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Yeah. That's what I was driving at. How did they run it? Do you know? Look at contracts first, then working practices etc? I've not been contacted myself (touch wood), just curious as I don't know anyone who's been throught the process and forewarned is forearmed. And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.Comment

You've just contradicted yourself? Next thing you'll be telling me you're a permie working in a foreign country on a UK contractor's forum.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostIR35 investigation, like God & giving blood is good for society is a myth. And the lord said unto John; "come forth and receive eternal life." If I didn't look on here once in a while I probably wouldn't even know what IR35 was, meanwhile the PCG and the government are negotiating and devising tests that will be largely ignored by the blissfully ignorant.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

Sally Anne asked the same question a while ago & I suspect the answers you seek may already be there..Originally posted by b0redom View PostJust had a straw poll of contractors, and none of them have or directly know anyone who has been investigated. Have you, or anyone you know directly (ie not my mate Dave met a fella in a chip shop, whos son's cousin's friend's butcher was).
