And no means no. Yeah, I may not think highly of women who wait till the last minute to stop things, but no in itself is pretty clear and any guy who keeps going nonetheless is still a rapist. It's not something normal men do and shouldn't be seen as any less serious than the stranger who drags the girl into the bushes.

If I was a guy, I'd be pretty offended if people thought so little of me to imply that I could 'accidentally' become a perpetrator of rape.

Many many blokes get thouroughly pissed off with women banging on about all men being rapist - just the ones who don't rape are to scared to do it....

Women, on average and much like many men, talk a lot of tulip.

Apologies on behalf of my gender.

And there credibility goes, equating road rage with pre meditated murder using a car.

I would much prefer that the two offences were separated, the perpetrators motives and drives are completely different and I suspect we are doing the victims a disservice by trying to shoe horn them into one offence.

                  Nipple clamps. Electrified if necessary.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

A valid point about a graduated justice system. The classic example of course is making the crime of rape less serious than murder. If they're both the same, there is no 'benefit' for the rapist to not murder the victim as well to potentially reduce the likelihood of being found out by removing a witness.
