Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Slough all the schools bailing early. I'm not sure what the teachers think the parents do for a living.
We are closing the school at 11 please pick up your children.
Luckily we are in a position to be flexible, but many of our friends are not.Comment

I made it in from the back of beyond to find that the office was closed for the day.
FFS - surely we're made of sterner stuff than his?
Can't work from home as I only started the role this week so don't even have a dev environment set up in the office let alone at home....Comment
