If I'm ever benched at the right time of year I'm going to have a go at making some scrumpy with the few hundredweight of apples that normally rot on the lawn. Anybody tried that ?

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

No. Would love to have a go. Lots of vids on youtube. You need a good quality apple press, and a chippy-blitty attachment for your drill.

This bloke uses a wood shreddy pulpy thing which seems cool.

                Apple press example here

The stuff in that blue bowl looks about as appealing as a pint of John Smith’s Extra Smooth. But next time I'm benched in October a cider pressing I will go.

Ask yourself this, are you cut out for contracting brewing?

If its any good I'll supp it, if its tulip it can go in the tulip booze pile for the next time I have a party at the house.

The bro in law is now making wine from kits and its certainly improved since the days when it all had that formaldehyde taste to it. Its half decent.
