Where are you looking? What size client, medium to large I would guess needing SC.

Start high, watch them wince and then negotiate downwards slowly.

Check out itjobswatch.co.uk for some indicators on rates for your skills in your location.

Piece of advice, if you want sensible non-abusive answers, post in Business/Contracts or Accounting/Legal.

My opinion £100pd is VERY low, mid 20k per annum. Skills look marketable

Rates depends on client, locations, skills, supply and demand.

Do you like Gladiators? Can you bleed a radiator and have you been taken up the OXO tower.

        Good luck.

Me either. But it isn't enough. Managed around £6K* last week, but I'm knackered now.

*It might have been 60p - I'm not sure I calculated the exchange rate the right way.

If you don't know what rate to charge, then surely you're just here winding us up; a quick glance at the job boards will tell you how much you're worth, and the ponces will only really have an idea of what is on offer.

The correct day rate is around £5 less than no.
