      Not so true. One of the best guys I'd ever worked (Aussie as well) with was a barman and a pizza chef before I hired him!

                Aus is expensive (Sydney) and the rates are worse than here , a lot worse , might have more sunshine but you will be financially poorer.

                      He's Danish and a really rather good all round j2ee enterprise type with some significant websites under his belt. I'm actually at a bit of a loss to understand why he's having problems finding a job out there.
