It seems I missed the first 3 episodes when it was first on telly, 'cos they were new to me.
I've been warned to prepare for some late nights as the series grips me.
It was never on telly.
Half way through the second series now, and it is getting good. Though to be honest I'm not as gripped as the hype suggests; I rewatched all of Lost recently and that had me watching 3 episodes a night.

I think BB was originally on C5, or one of the other 5 channels? It's a weird example of a show that became incredibly successful in the UK without ever being mainstream here though.
Ah, Lost. I loved it for 3 seasons, was intrigued for another season and then was gradually dismayed for the final 2.

Yes you're right. It definitely started getting too convoluted around the fourth and fifth seasons, and then by the end it became a bit of a chore to watch and I wasn't really sad that it ended (either time).
X-Files went the same way, and I see that meant to be coming back.
I stopped watching X-Files when it left BBC. In fact I never knew it had run for so long. I might watch it again, I was in school the first time round.
