Top to bottom for me but it makes no difference.
It's how I was dressed when I couldn't do buttons up for myself as a kid so that set the pattern. -
I've no idea. I don't normally bother unbuttoning my blouses - just pull 'em over my head.
Probably bottom to top, but don't think I'm consistent.Comment

Top to bottom, bottom to top has a serious risk of button to hole mismatch and that kind of thing pisses me off in the morning.Comment

I think bottom to top. And I undo top to bottom. I've no idea why.Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment

When I was at school I discovered you could speedily undo your entire shirt by holding the button side at the bottom, and tugging the buttonhole side up. My mother wondered why I ended up with so many missing buttons.Comment
